Thank U Berry Munch

When I was little, I was Brownie Scout. What I enjoyed most, as well as those in my neighborhood was cookies season. I can remember selling Girl Scout Cookies to family, friends and neighbors.
The Girl Scout Cookies Program® is the world’s largest Business and Financial literacy program. In the 83 years that the Girl Scouts Cookie Program® has been in existence, it has continuously offered new ways to help girls grow strong.
Girls learn important lessons about business, math, organization, sales, money management, negotiation, responsibility and most importantly, self-confidence. The Cookie Program also teaches girls to appreciate and take pride in the work that they’ve accomplished for themselves and for Girl Scouts.
I remember going on several camping trips as a Girl Scout and learned many life long skills through this organization.
Starting January 9th through March 31st, the long awaited Girl Scout Cookies will be available from your local Girl Scouts. Girl Scouts will be selling eight Cookie varieties, all containing zero grams of trans fat. They are Lemon Chalet Cremes, Trefoils, Do-Si-Dos, Samoas, Dulce de Leche, Tagalongs, Thin Mints and the newest Cookie, Thank U Berry Munch. My favorites are Thin Mints and Tagalongs. I did have the opportunity sample Thank U Berry Munch last month.
Thank U Berry Munch is made with real premium cranberries providing a delightful tartness to these hearty cookies sweetened with creamy, white fudge chips. Crispy rice delivers a satisfying crunch. So far I’ve eaten three while writing this post!
What’s cool about cookie season this year is “Operation Cookie”. You can purchase a box or a case of cookies from a local Girl Scout and donate the boxes to be shipped directly to our troops overseas to remind them and give them a taste of home. I love what this organization is doing to giveback!
Girl Scouts selling Cookies, Booth Sales throughout the county will begin in February. It’s easier to find your Girl Scout Cookies with our cookie booth locator tool on our website, www.gsnc.org.
Try out Thank U Berry Munch, you won’t be disappointed!
